Hi folks
Ian Traynor here from York, UK. I'm really happy that Mark is sharing even more of his valuable strategies and advice.
I've been following Mark right rince his "Aesop.com" days, and I've learnt a huge amount from him.
I bought into his "Farewell Package" and made great use of some of the stuff in the package.
I'm glad to see that Mark's "farewell concert" was a bit like those of Status Quo - although I think they've had more farewell concerts than Mark!
I'm looking forward to actively participating in this community.
Right, I'm off to print out and read Mark's book.
Kind regards
Mark Joyner

Hi Ian... glad to see another "Farewell Package" owner. :)
Still remember receiving it in the mail back when I was still living in Germany. And the fact that I basically got it free after referring just two other customers to Mark (50% commission).

Hi Frank - and Mark :-)
I think I got the FP at a reduced price to offset some commissions due to me from Aesop.com
My, it all seems a long time ago!
One of the products in the FP is still bringing in subscribers to my newsletter. I took one of Mark's widgets (I forget what he called it), hired a student in Australia to do some programming for peanuts and turned it into "Marketing Tipster".
It's a little widget which sits on people's websites and delivers a new marketing tip each day. I preloaded it with 365 tips and basically just left it alone.
I've just checked my autoresponder stats. The first Tipster signup was in November 2003 and the latest was a couple of days ago.
Each widget on other people's sites has a link back to the Marketing Tipster signup page.
Now - is that viral marketing or integration marketing?

Hi Ian,
At the very least it's a great example for Integration Marketing. :)
If that widget spreads to more and more places without you having to do anything manually, then it's even a great example for Viral Marketing. :D ... yes, it is... just took a look at it at your site. Can you tell on how many sites it's used so far?
Anyway... great job!

Hi Frank
Sorry for the delay in replying. Busy, busy, busy :)
I reckon there's something like 2k sites with Marketing Tipster on board. Of course, many of them aren't getting much traffic.
But I've just checked my tracking stats for the past 24 hours and there's been about 50 accesses to Tipster.
And that's after not having touched it for quite a few years!
